1935-2024
In 1986, Ben Fisher and former players Bill Owens and Jack Thompson, formally established the Western Suburbs old boys’ network, Pratten Park Magpies.
Its purpose was, and still is, to restore friendships, organise reunions, support mates who have fallen on hard times and to research and preserve the Magpie brand in any way it can. With a current membership of nearly 450 former players and officials, Pratten Park Magpies has its own charter and organisation structure with a majority of the committee having played first grade.
