Roys debut at Saints in 1972
Wyong junior who played for Western Suburbs from 1964 to 1971 before joining St George in search of a premiership. Played 100 first-grade games for the club in six seasons, despite having competition for a centre position from players such as Ted Goodwin, Gary Pethybridge and Robert Finch. He became the first man to play 100 first-grade games for two clubs. Arguably St Georges best player in the 1975 Grand Final.
